Data Analyst

I’m currently recruiting a data analyst role based in Dublin. This is an initial 6-month contract, focusing on hybrid working. Strong day rate available.

About the role

• Design and develop high-quality Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Build and optimise semantic models, DAX measures and interactive visualisations using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing reporting solutions.

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience developing and supporting Power BI dashboards, with strong Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query and semantic modelling skills.
• Advanced T-SQL experience, including complex queries, CTEs, window functions, views and stored procedures.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric or a comparable cloud analytics platform, alongside strong understanding of dimensional modelling and reporting architecture.

Desirable

• Previous technical experience with Microsoft Fabric Data Factory pipelines and Spark notebooks.
• Knowledge of metadata-driven ETL and configuration-based data processing.
• Experience within financial services, insurance, or another data-intensive environment.
